Whether aluminum, wood or PVC, MACO has the perfect hardware for every type of material. At Polyclose - hall 1, booth 1480 - team MACO Benelux is ready to present its latest innovations to visitors. In doing so, the experts will show how the company takes every project to the next level with its fittings solutions.
How does MACO improve the quality of life, for now and in the future? By, among other things, ensuring the comfort of windows and doors for decades and enabling energy-efficient, sustainable building and living. "Safety, ease of use, energy efficiency and practicality go hand in hand with our range of hardware, seals, sills and access control systems," says Harold Wisselink, Managing Director MACO Benelux. "All these products are perfectly matched and cleverly thought out. This means that the various components of a building work together to deliver optimum performance. Our range offers the right solutions for every situation. Our high-quality products are not only durable and reliable, but also easy to install and maintain."
At Polyclose, visitors will not only have the opportunity to see the MACO product range, but also to experience the future of hardware for themselves. A good example of this is the MACO Z-TF lock from the Excellent Line program in which fire, sound and burglary resistance go hand in hand. This innovative lock has perfect pressure with the three latch bolts and safe locking with hooks and dead bolt. It is standard SKG** and RC2 tested as well as EI1 60'-certificated according to the EN1634-1 - EN13501-2 standard.
Fire-resistant elements are also in demand for plastic window frames. "MACO took up this challenge and together with our partners, Hebo and Venstertechniek, succeeded in certifying windows and doors with the Gealan profile according to the EN1634-1 standard," says Harold. "These elements were tested on both fire sides and far exceeded the required 30 minutes. The tested Multi Power hardware and A-TS lock can therefore be added to the required CE certificate for Gealan processors by means of an HPS."
New freedom in height and design opens up new possibilities in door design. INSTINCT by MACO realizes this. "This revolutionary locking system no longer needs a profile cylinder," Harold clarifies. "The system is accessed via access control or app and opened, automatically closed and locked when the door is closed again. Up to eight communicating locking elements can be flexibly placed in the door. Thanks to their low installation depth of only 20 millimeters, the locking elements fit on the door leaf or in the frame."
Another innovation is the Move hardware introduced by MACO together with its German subsidiary HAUTAU. "Bringing innovations to market is easier when you do it together," Harold continues. "This smart alternative in lift-slide hardware for door and window elements stands for light and error-free operation, without having to use additional force. This hardware can be installed in no time with standard tools. The complete system - in combination with the MACO Multi-Matic turn-tilt hardware and the intelligent safety i.S. cam - ensures absolutely tight sliding elements."
