Dutch Trade Association for the Carpentry Industry (NBvT)

The Dutch Trade Association for the Carpentry Industry (NBvT) is a trade association that is primarily there for its members, combines forces and promotes interests. The NBvT supports its members in the areas of marketing, advice, networking, innovation, standards and regulations, environment, technology, personnel and organization.

Together with its members, the NBvT works to further increase the market share of wood products relative to other materials. The NBvT helps promote the added value of the products made by its members and the expertise of its members' personnel.

Together with its members and other stakeholders within the timber and construction industry, the NBvT wants to share knowledge, encourage innovations and further improve efficiency in the chain.

In addition, the NBvT provides advice (solicited and unsolicited), offers networking opportunities and contributes to further research and dissemination of the many environmental and quality benefits of the raw material wood and wood products.
