Welcome to Polyclose. Future-oriented building can be shown concretely

Meeting contacts, showing solutions and increasing brand awareness: these are the main objectives during Polyclose, the biennial trade fair in Ghent. The event scheduled for August 31 and September 1 and 2 offers an overview of all moving elements on facades. Kawneer Nederland, designer, developer and seller of aluminum profile systems for windows, doors, sliding doors and curtain walls, will also be present. 

Whether it's safety, comfort or low energy consumption, clients increasingly demand quality and above all security. "Our extensively tested and certified total solutions that contribute to this are on display at Polyclose," says Rob Huvers on behalf of Kawneer Nederland BV. "In addition, we are introducing our brand new corporate identity with the central slogan 'Building Legacies'. Because that's what we do: with our facade systems we help build the most iconic buildings worldwide."

Resource scarcity, climate change, focus on health and urbanization will significantly change the built environment toward the future. Against the backdrop of climate targets and CO₂-reduction, Kawneer offers several products that, thanks to their high insulation value, positively influence the energy performance of buildings. One of these is the new AA 5110 sliding patio door in bellows version with the unique thermoblock. In addition, several Kawneer products are cradle-to-cradle certified: the proof of sustainability and circularity. "To meet the requirements in terms of safety, comfort and health, we offer numerous practical and certified solutions for noise reduction, fire safety and burglar resistance, among others," says Huvers. "This makes Kawneer ready for the future."

Kawneer is known for its modular aluminum systems for windows, doors and facades. Regardless of whether high insulating, burglar-resistant or fire-resistant is chosen, the design remains the same. "This provides the facade builder with the necessary benefits in terms of production and inventory," Huvers said.
