Concept of seamless doors extended to the entire room
People like sleek interiors, which includes choosing seamless doors without visible frames, hinges and door pumps. Xinnix specializes in the development and production of invisible door systems. The range now includes a solution for every application: swing, sliding and pivot doors, standard or customized, one by one with an X-factor. In order to extend the flatness of those doors onto the walls, the manufacturer also offers recessed skirting boards. Within the XP50 range, there is a choice of recessed and adhesive skirting boards.
At Xinnix, customers are offered a choice of two different types of skirting boards. One is aluminum skirting boards, 50 mm high and only 4 mm deep, available with a white or black primer like the well-known door frames. There is also a recessed skirting board 50 mm high and 13 mm deep. It is mounted recessed (9 mm) or flat-walled with different finishes, tailored to the customer's wishes: an elegant cover, a stainless steel cover plate on top of the cover or your own interpretation from HPL or stone. Floor and plinth can thus be in the same material, as we often see in traditional interiors.
"Plinth profile and cover are provided with a primer in white (RAL 9016) or black (RAL 9005) and are thus finished in the color of the wall. Furthermore, they can be supplied in brut or as a variant in anodized aluminum (F1), which also looks great without a finishing coat," explains business manager Chris Vermeulen. "Thanks to our handy fittings and accessories, such as the coupling, end and connection pieces, we guarantee easy assembly. All baseboards are mechanically fixed or invisibly glued into the wall construction. With a minimum of tools and materials, one quickly creates an end result that can be seen. The skirting profiles are suitable for both drywall and walls to be plastered. They are ideally installed before the plasterer starts work, allowing him to immediately finish everything nicely right up to the door frame."
Xinnix, of course, remains first and foremost the specialist in invisible door systems. It all started with the "invisible" swing doors X1, X2 and X40, based on pre-painted aluminum frames that provide a flat-walled interior door without visible frames, hinges and door pumps. They come standard with 3D independently adjustable hinges and a
Xinnix magnetic lock.
In the same style, acoustic and fire doors - equipped with integrated door closer, access control or anti-panic lock - are also possible. The range also includes the X3 with self-closing pivot that is invisibly installed at the bottom of the door leaf. However, the major innovation lies in the Xinnix frame with a uniform clearance of 5 mm around the door leaf, which eliminates "faults" in the walls. The doors close automatically and can be locked automatically at +90° and -90° for ease of use.
"With X5-pocket (new construction) and X5-wall (renovation), we developed a full range of solutions for wooden and glass sliding doors - single and double - to close off two rooms without losing much space. Indeed, these sliding door systems allow the door to slide completely into the wall. By adding soft-open, push2open and soft-close, the sliding door becomes much more user-friendly," explains sales manager Laurens Vermeulen.
"Finally, the X8 is a total package with a frame, a door leaf, certified Xinnix hinges, a magnetic lock ánd the finish. Dibond, HDF, Plexi or HPL ... anything can be done as infill. In short: one can seamlessly blend door, wall and skirting boards, taking the interior to a higher level."
