The latest Alu-Steel Series, a system that enables the combination of outstanding performance of aluminum with a steel-like appearance, is set to be one of the catalog's most significant updates. CORTIZO, one of the leading suppliers of aluminum systems for architecture worldwide, will present its latest R&D developments for windows, doors, facades and balustrades to the Belgian and Dutch markets at Polyclose (Stand 1462 - Hall 1). The Spain-based company will build a 200m² stand in Ghent to showcase new solutions for closures, which always combine exceptional thermal and acoustic performance with innovative designs. Designed specifically for the Belgian market, both the ATG seal and the Environmental Product Declaration will ensure architectural aluminum products with a low environmental impact.
CORTIZO will take the opportunity to present an entirely new Alu-Steel product line, which will play an important role among all recent developments. Despite the fact that this line is aimed at the renovation market, its steel-like appearance makes it an interesting option in new construction projects pursuing an industrial aesthetic.
All in all, this new system meets the ongoing demands of the building renovation sector. With that in mind, CORTIZO's R&D department has managed to provide window and balcony profiles with a 72.5 mm line of sight in two versions: 'Classic' (bevelled aesthetics), and 'Modern', (with straight lines). Moreover, the system can achieve a transmission value Uw of 0.74 W/m²K thanks to the thermal break of 39 mm in the frame, the thermal break of 32 mm in the sash and the use of insulating foam. Both the thermal and acoustic performance values are supported by a glazing capacity of 54 mm.
On the other hand, CORTIZO is also launching Millennium Plus Pivot, a vertical pivot entrance door with high dimensions. This door can be made up to 3 meters high, making it a real hit for contemporary architecture.
Some top designs will also be on display at the booth, such as the COR VISION PLUS, the brand's flagship product. With an impressive central locking 25 mm, maximum dimensions reach both width and height of 4 meters per wing. Six wing configurations are possible, including open corners and, the most distinguishing factor, fully concealed threshold rails. The specifications go hand in hand with the design: Uw to 0.9 W/m2K, acoustic performance of Rw=43 dB, Class 4 air permeability, Class 9A waterproofing and Class C4 wind load resistance.
COR80 Industrial, COR80 Hidden Sash, BiFold Door, View Crystal minimalist balustrade, curtain wall solutions and other accessories such as the Arch Invisible handle are sure to catch people's attention at Polyclose.
