DUCO NATURAL COOLING - Innovative and sustainable solution against overheating

Duco Natural Cooling represents a sustainable and energy-efficient system that puts an end to the growing problem of overheating in homes. This innovative solution combines ventilative cooling via natural air currents with smart shading. As a result, in an energy-efficient way, 'zero energy', created a thermally comfortable indoor climate, without the use of energy-intensive air conditioning.

Duco Natural Cooling offers a sustainable way to regulate the temperature in buildings, even during the hottest summer days. The system is based on the "ladder of cooling. The shutters close automatically when it rains and open when conditions are favorable for cooling.

Michel Mengerink, total concepts consultant at DUCO, explains: "Studies show that in a row house with underfloor cooling combined with Duco Natural Cooling, savings of more than 80% are possible compared to active cooling.

For an apartment on a heat grid, this saves 1,200 kWh of electricity from May to September, without sacrificing resident comfort."
