For years, Kawneer has emphasized aluminum profile systems that are quick and easy to assemble and install. We are talking about Building Simplicity. The development and production also think about the future. The origin of raw materials and the entire process up to the recyclability and reuse of the end product are carefully considered: Building Sustainability. Not surprisingly, these two themes took center stage at Polyclose. For example, the aluminum curtain wall system AA 100 is up to 30% faster to assemble and mount than traditional curtain wall systems. It works with dry joints, requires fewer accessories and is easily optimized, saving time and materials. The impact of the environmental performance of building materials is also weighing increasingly heavily on the overall environmental impact. The current statutory environmental performance requires a reduction from 1.0 to 0.5 by 2030, and even to 0.0 by 2050. The RT 72 Reflex window system has an EQI score that is 18 % better than the industry average. The RT 72 ReflexCARE window system, which is manufactured from a minimum of 80 % recycled aluminum, scores a whopping 35 % better than the industry average. Both products are also Cradle-to-Cradle certified." At Kawneer's booth, visitors were able to learn about the new fire-rated window and door system RT 72 HI+ FR. The product combines thermal insulation, burglar resistance and fire resistance and has been tested for applications with large dimensions and fire-resistant panels. The system can also be integrated into fire-resistant HSB elements.
