GEALAN's International Forum for the Future will also take place in the hybrid format in 2023: on May 25, 2023, the major industry meeting will once again focus on the European window frame market. The introduction of premium products and digital tools from GEALAN should, of course, not be missed at the International Forum for the Future 2023 either. Like last year, all presentations will be broadcast online via a livestream: www.gealan.de/nl/iff
GEALAN continues to write the success story of its International Forum for the Future. On May 25, 2023, the European window frame industry with its challenges and opportunities will once again take center stage on the large GEALAN stage. During their presentations, renowned experts will discuss what is currently driving the industry, outline the changing expectations of customers, highlight backgrounds and discuss the prospects for the European window frame market. The introduction of first-class products and digital tools from GEALAN should of course also not be missed during the International Forum for the Future 2023. All presentations will be translated live into eight languages and broadcast online throughout Europe via a live stream.
The positive response to last year's hybrid format was a pleasant confirmation for GEALAN: on-site presentations at the International Forum for the Future 2023 will again be complemented by a digital broadcast. The added value of this easy accessibility is obvious: By offering the International Forum for the Future in hybrid format, GEALAN reaches all customers and business partners - no matter where they are at the time and no matter how much time they can spare to view the latest industry news and expert insights from experts.
The program is multifaceted and, like last year, focuses on four main themes. the presentations elaborate on important current issues in the industry and show GEALAN's high-quality product and system solutions for the market of the future.
Markets in Europe are more dynamic than ever: Where does the construction industry currently stand, where are new construction and renovation going, what is driving these developments? Are these structures going to change fundamentally? What clear trends are emerging in the complex European markets? And last but not least, what do all these framework conditions mean in concrete terms for the frame manufacturers? Keynote speaker Martin Langen, Director of the market research company B+L from Bonn, Germany, will elaborate on the current market situation with facts and figures. He also discusses the background against which these developments are taking place and shows clear perspectives for the window frame market in Europe.
Our expert: Since 1994, Martin Langen has been managing director of the B+L Marktdaten market research institute based in Bonn. He also works as a university lecturer in market research. His institute focuses on the European and global construction industry. His mission: To research, understand, explain the construction industry.
First-class systems, first-class top coats - current product developments at GEALAN GEALAN continues to focus on first-class products with a clear competitive advantage now more than ever. André Wünsche, Head of Product Management, Innovation and Customer Service Center at GEALAN emphasizes this very clearly in his overview of all current and future product developments. The clear focus here is on: GEALAN-acrylcolor®. In future, the PMMA top layer will be offered for all systems with a gray profile base element - in combination with dark GEALAN-acrylcolor® colors, this will create a brand new aesthetic that has not been achieved before.
André Wünsche further looks ahead to the expansion of GEALAN design systems, delivery programs for color technologies and sill solutions.
The window frame industry is going to be about performance again, so competition will be much fiercer. To be successful, companies must offer more than just good products. Customers expect providers to respond fully to their needs and offer attractive solutions much more than before. In the future, therefore, there must be a stronger emphasis on devising, developing and offering a combination of products and services. This new trend is called "servitization." This describes the transformation that manufacturing companies are undergoing: from pure product sales to value-added customer solutions. Prof. Dr. Stefan Wengler, university professor and expert on sales excellence, explains exactly what "servitization" means for your company and how to implement it successfully. His keynote is a call for true service orientation in the interest of the customer. Our expert: Prof. Dr. Stefan Wengler is a university professor and consultant on Marketing & Sales in B2B markets. His current focus in advising companies is on the transformation to sales excellence. GEALAN also works well with him on various projects.
Digitalization is playing an increasingly important role in the window systems industry - and thus also at GEALAN. Michael Militzer, Innovation and Electronics Team Leader at GEALAN, shows product solutions to automate window frames, doors and blinds intelligently and depending on the situation. These range from room ventilation to various smarthome applications from the new TEXINO brand.
But digitization starts at a much earlier stage: GEALAN and its digital unit DBS offers architects and designers, frame manufacturers and dealers as well as end customers digital solutions that support design, production and procurement processes in a targeted and simple way. Özkan Arslan, Head of Digital Planning at GEALAN, and Karl Dietrich Wellsow, Managing Director of Digital Building Solutions, elaborate on the current tools and upcoming developments in digital services.
With these core themes presented from a relevant perspective and in a modern format, GEALAN takes its successful event series one step further.
GEALAN Director Ivica Maurović is looking forward to the second edition of the hybrid event after last year's successful premiere: "We particularly enjoyed the personal exchange and expert talks. Our on-site experts shared their industry knowledge and looked ahead. Everyone is equally important to us. This is why we are making the event as uncomplicated as possible again this year. No matter where you are: everyone can follow our livestream to absorb the valuable knowledge of experts. I cordially invite everyone to attend. We look forward to your participation."
