"We want to help our customers optimize their processes ánd make them more future-proof," says Dennis Koning of Tryma Netherlands. With decades of experience as a production manager, Dennis was approached by Tryma Belgium in 2018 to establish a Dutch branch together. Since then, Tryma has developed its own unique vision for the production of windows and doors.
Tryma is a dealer of processing machines for windows and doors but now also manufactures its own machines and production equipment. "At Tryma we look beyond just the machines and that is precisely what I find interesting," says account manager Bas Claassen. "I have been working for Tryma Netherlands for a number of years now and come across the floor to many customers. One of our customers' biggest challenges is staff shortages. We can help with this by far-reaching automation of the production process with a higher output, while the number of people remains the same."
Finding out the customer's exact need is always the first step, Bas says. "Where does the customer himself think he can make the most profit? Then we make an appropriate proposal for a future-proof layout of the production and in doing so we look beyond just the machines. For example, we also look at routing and also advise on business processes if there is a need for this."
"We notice that there is a need for Tryma's unique solutions," Dennis adds. "That's why we are growing rapidly at the moment. We set up a production company two years ago: Tryma Poland. Here we produce our own workshop equipment and automatic transport systems for windows and doors."
It was an important step for Tryma because transportation and handling in a factory is a loss. Employees can produce windows and doors better in this day and age, according to Dennis. "Also, many operations can now be done with robots, a development that is really no longer in its infancy. We often see opportunities with customers that they haven't thought of themselves yet!"
The growth of the company requires even more expansion and now Gert Kodde is part of the team as technical manager. Like Dennis Koning, he has years of experience as a production manager at one of the largest manufacturers for windows and doors in the Netherlands. Gert sees plenty of opportunities: "Many companies run into the same problem, such as suppliers who supply machines, but can't think along in the total process. I knew Tryma from my previous role as a company that likes to think along and can actually add value through their extensive knowledge of the process."
So it's about providing a total solution to customers, with software being an important factor. Gert Kodde will be doing a lot of that: "We advise not only on production flow and robotization, but also on using the right software. I find it challenging to be part of this team now and to work with the customer to come to the best outcome for production."
