Emmegi Benelux in Zaventem is a very young company, founded only in October 2021. Nevertheless, the Italian brand's machines and machining centers have long been known on the Benelux market. Indeed, the machine builder was represented there by its own reseller for more than 25 years. Thanks to a new team of commercial advisors and technicians, support for purchasing and after-sales service was further improved.
Emmegi is a leading manufacturer of machines for machining profiles and parts in aluminum, as well as in PVC, light alloys and steel. The machine builder is part of the Voilàp group, where the development of various specific software is at least as important as the mechanical technological innovations. "Emmegi offers an appropriate solution for each aluminum processor: from a simple single-head sawing machine over automatically controlled double-head sawing centers to highly automated CNC machining centers with or without feed and/or discharge warehouse," says sales manager Johan Vancoillie. "Furthermore, customers can also come to us for angle presses, profile trolleys, reel trolleys, assembly tables and many other complementary products."
Emmegi always strives for a long-term relationship with each customer. The quality of service is as important as that of the machines themselves. Therefore, a team of expert service technicians is ready daily to help the customer as soon as possible. After all, downtime on the shop floor must be kept to an absolute minimum.
"Our service actually begins when a machine is purchased. Every project starts with a conversation in which we listen to a customer's needs and predetermined budget. After all, we want to provide advice right from the start on how to spend that amount as efficiently as possible. In this way, we can ensure that people invest in the most appropriate hardware and software options while ensuring that important options for their specific application are not overlooked," explains the sales manager. "We always start from a standard machine configuration, but since we will work with the customer to determine all options until there is a 100 % match between needs and capabilities, rarely are two machines completely identical."
Emmegi has built a strong reputation over the years. To maintain that position and strengthen it even further, the machine builder continues to invest continuously in innovation and optimization. "We notice that the software is becoming increasingly important to have workpieces produced by the machines from the drawings of the work preparation without problems. Because the distance between the office and the shop floor is often also literally very large, we want to ensure that the data and operations can be flawlessly sent from the drawing software and received and executed by the machines," Vancoillie continues.
"Our systems are also equipped with a large touch screen, which gives the operator a clear view of the workpiece and operations at all times and minimizes the risk of errors. With each of our machines and machining centers, design, ergonomics, accessibility and safety blend harmoniously with efficiency, robustness and precision."
At Emmegi, Polyclose is marked in red on the agenda. The machine builder will have an even more prominent presence during this edition of the trade fair than before. "This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to put Emmegi Benelux in the spotlight once again and to be accessible to our customers and partners," concludes Johan Vancoillie.
