The field sales staff can use the tool to make quotations on location, giving the customer immediate information on all prices. Klaes' Internet-based solutions work from a central database, which can be easily updated. Klaes webtrade does not require any special hardware. A normal browser is sufficient.

As a result of, among other things, the rules around BIM and BENG, changing building processes and the introduction of the new Building Quality Assurance Act, very high performance must be achieved and demonstrated. BUVA's plastic PreSet, a comprehensive selection of hardware for plastic windows and doors, meets these requirements: from door hinges and locks to cylinders, door hinges and Tilt&Turn hardware. At BUVA, however, even more is moving. For example, there is a new range of aluminum profiles, allowing the glass of the sidelights to extend to the IsoStone® lower sill. Moreover, BUVA is pushing hard for an improved connection of the IsoStone® lower sills to the frame. A new locking plate with locking bowl was also developed that is fully recessed into the lower sill, allowing the rubber under the door to keep its shape and keep out wind and water. Digitization within window production in top gear
ERP software package 3E-LOOK from 3E Datentechnik GmbH integrates all kinds of processes for window production and trade and maps them digitally.
This results in better performance, increased reliability and lean manufacturing. Thanks to customer feedback, the software house can continuously further optimize this solution. For example, a new 'material management' module, linked to capacity planning, provides access to all the data and functionalities needed to quickly and accurately execute all orders on time, even when working with partial deliveries. Using data related to production, inventory management, logistics, assembly planning and post-calculation, all facets of the business are mapped broadly and in depth. Users can access all data remotely via an App, which also enables digital delivery notes to be sent, making that part of the process completely paperless.
Especially for trade, many new elements have been added. Thus, with 3E-LOOK TRADE, quotations, inquiries, orders and additional elements are digitally processed and visualized right up to assembly. For manufacturers, WEB-SALES was developed, an online software that communicates continuously with 3E-LOOK and ensures that all processes between manufacturer and retailer can be carried out paperless and more efficiently. Orders and other data are thus entered directly into the system: no more duplication of work for dealer and manufacturer. This can even be done on location via smartphone or tablet. At Orgadata, they have been investing time and money for years in the continuous optimization of Logikal. This software forms the heart of IT at window manufacturers, door manufacturers and façade builders, who use it to plan and produce their products: from design through calculation, quotation, engineering and work preparation to the intelligent control of the machine. At Polyclose you can learn about the new version LogiKal 12, which was completely recreated by the developers. The project center was completely redesigned. 3D visualization is used for input, and the operating concept was also improved. Much attention was paid to the look and feel, as the software looks like MS-Office. Nevertheless, one should not be put off by the changes, because those who could work with the previous version will be able to handle this LogiKal 12 without any problems.
'Logikal MES' (Manufacturing Execution System) is the ideal extension. At each machine and individual workstation there is a screen, on which can be read exactly, what is happening. In this way, the emphasis is on paperless production. Logikal MES also collects all data from that production process digitally, making everything available at the touch of a button.

AluK's R&D department turns trends into innovative solutions. At Polyclose, for example, the manufacturer is presenting new design and configuration options for the ultra-slim 'Infinium' sliding door system. A new flat sill ensures an aesthetic view without interruption at floor level and easy (de)mounting of the sash without breaking into the ceiling.
Thanks to the new wheel sets, this system can be implemented with an increased sash weight of up to 400 kg and even the heaviest Infinium sliding door is still user-friendly. As of now, a monorail version is also available and even up to six sashes can be applied. With a 90º opening angle, any living space can be effortlessly connected. In addition, AluK also offers a configuration where the glass sections meet at a 90° angle without the use of a corner profile.
In close cooperation with AGC, AluK also developed a unique window concept with an all-glass sash that lets in up to 15 % more light and provides a boundless transition between inside and outside. This window system combines the transparency, accessibility and openness of a glass window with all the advantages of a tilt or turn window. The window sashes are made without bumps and edges. Functional components, such as hardware and seals, are concealed with elegant enameled glass, available in an extensive RAL color palette. 'Clara by AluK' windows are also extremely energy-efficient, meeting all low energy and passive house standards and scoring high in acoustics and burglar resistance.

In view of Fensterbau Frontale as well as Polyclose, they have not been idle at Dr. Hahn in Mönchengladbach either. For example, several new roller hinges for plastic and aluminum doors were again developed.
The new roller hinges Hahn KT-RKN and KT-RKV for plastic doors are the smallest hinges in the range. Despite their narrow design of only 18 mm, they still effortlessly carry doors up to 90 kg (two-piece) and 120 kg (three-piece). The larger roller hinges Hahn KT-RN and KT-RV have a diameter of 22 mm. Depending on the profile version, the two-piece variants carry doors up to 120 kg, the three-piece up to 160 kg. These roller band hinges are suitable for both left and right handed doors and available in all RAL colors, as well as in EV1 (silver anodized).
The R&D department also developed Hahn VL-Band AT, an easy-to-process concealed hinge for aluminum doors. The door leaf can be easily integrated and is also immediately attached to the frame. This hinge is adjustable in six directions: stepless horizontal as well as vertical adjustment +/- 4 mm and compression adjustment +/- 1.5 mm. Furthermore, there is a specific solution for the Dutch market, where mainly plastic doors with very narrow profiles are used. The 'Rollenband NL' is adjustable in 6 directions and also available in EV1 (silver anodized). It was extensively tested at SKG and received a 2-star label.
