FAPIM has always paid particular attention to burglar resistance. Since 1999 it has complied with the experimental standards that in 2011 gave rise to the current European standards EN 1627 -1630, based on the tests and certifications realized and achieved by Fapim systems. Among the SKG / RC2 certified FAPIM products in the door world are the Loira+ hinges, as well as the Galiplus2, Galicube and Magicube hinge systems.
All two- and three-piece Loira + standard hinges meet the requirements of European standards EN 1627 - 1630: 2021 in terms of burglar resistance, achieving Class 2 with the installation of only two hinges on the door, and even Class 3 (using a crowbar in the test) with three hinges. To further increase the security of the door, FAPIM supplies a special burglar-proof pin (Art. 6654D and Art. 6654E), made of extra-hardened special steel with cut-through protection up to 3', as prescribed in the Dutch standard NEN 5096:2012.
Since 2017, FAPIM's turn-tilt systems have been improved, with a reduction of 50% in locking points required for standard configurations, and the inclusion in the catalog of two special burglary-resistant sets (Art.1640A for usei.c.w. window handles with square pin,and Art. 1640B for use i.c.w. window handles with fork). These sets limit the vertical movement of the sash with special locking elements, and are the same for all turn-tilt systems Galiplus2, Galicube and Magicube. They have made it possible to achieve SKG class 2 / RC2 certification.
FAPIM, which has made quality its distinguishing feature, is always one step ahead in safety!
