At Bohle AG, a leading manufacturer and supplier of glass processing and handling, they are constantly committed to innovation and improvement. New proof of this is the innovative Veribor® battery-powered suction lifters, a novelty that supports users with an intelligent electric safety and vacuum system compared to conventional suction lifters with hand pump. Moreover, this battery-powered pump - the central component of the product - can be used adaptively on Bohle's already proven manual pump suction lifters.
Safe lifting and transporting of glass starts with Bohle's suction lifters, a product group that has been expanded yet again with the versatile and easy-to-use Veribor® battery-powered suction lifter. The new product is first and foremost about increased safety. Lifting, carrying or holding gas-tight material, flat panes, panels or other products? The smart Veribor® makes it all possible with a simple push of a button.
"Compared to conventional pump pistons, this battery-powered vacuum lifter sets new standards in terms of safety and comfort," said Frank Bouwman, general manager of Veenendaal-based Bohle Benelux BV. "For example, manual pumping is no longer necessary. When the vacuum drops, the battery-powered pump automatically restarts. This not only increases ease of use, it especially improves safety. Furthermore, you save considerably on effort, energy and time."
However, even when the vacuum lifter is removed from the glass plate, the pump continues to operate. All the user has to do to immediately rebuild the required vacuum is to hold the device against the next object. Consequently, this ingenious feat ensures that the Veribor® can be operated with only one hand. A feature that not only speeds up the work process considerably, but also boosts productivity. Handy and welcome, especially when, for example, several panels have to be moved from A to B at a rapid pace.
With one battery charge, the brand new suction lifter from Bohle provides the user with as many as 600 pumping units. In the case of a normal workload, the Veribor® thus lasts a long time on just one battery charge.
"The battery can be fully charged in about 3 hours," Bouwman continued. "Without delay. Work can continue as usual during the charging process. With the included hand pump, the user can quickly and easily switch to hand pump mode. Another special advantage lies in the possibility that previously purchased Veribor pump vacuums can be simply upgraded with the smart battery-powered pump. With this, too, we provide a nice extra that none of our competitors in the market can offer."
