"With the mechanical gate closer, open doors, gates and barriers are a thing of the past," says technical consultant and commercial employee Richard Kikkert. "Thanks to the adjustable closing speed and closing without end stops, injuries caused by slamming doors, gates and fences are also prevented at all times. The gate closer prevents the door, fence or gate from slamming shut too quickly, as with a normal closing spring. Because the entire closing process is inhibited, the risk of accidents (such as fingers caught in the gate) is significantly reduced. By using hydraulic oil (also used in the aviation industry), braking is constant even with large temperature fluctuations. This makes gate shutter DIREKT ideally suited for entrance gates and gates on fenced off areas. For example, at companies, schools, childcare facilities, petting zoos, apartment buildings, nursing homes and hospitals. A suitable gate shutter for every situation

Gate shutter DIREKT is suitable as standard for use on entrance gates up to a width of about 2 meters and a weight of about 100 kg, depending on the model. Larger sizes and heavier weights are also possible on request. For example, a DIREKT gate shutter was recently supplied for a campsite, which operates swing gates with a width of 3.5 meters and a weight of approx. 160 kg. DIREKT's maximum opening angle is 110 degrees. The gate shutter is available in two lengths (with a stroke of 150 and 200 mm). In addition, users have a choice of materials, such as galvanized steel with shrink film (anthracite, black or white), stainless steel 304 or stainless steel 316.
