For many years, plastic and aluminum window frames in homes were cream-colored. Then architects and building owners often chose a shade of black. Today, the look and feel of wood is back in. So people's tastes can change quickly. Now they like a certain color and tomorrow another shade is already preferred. Replacing everything over and over again would cost a lot of money.
Yet there is an affordable solution. Using a high-quality colored film, Colormatics has been adding color to aluminum and PVC window profiles for almost 15 years. Due to the increasing demand for solutions for facade cladding, the specialist from Maasmechelen also developed its own series of clad aluminum tube profiles with Color Wall.
Since 2007, Colormatics has been supplying high-quality films for cladding PVC and aluminum window profiles. In the meantime, the company has built up very extensive know-how and expertise. "We can give any type of profile of any brand a color or motif. To do this, we offer a wide range of films in more than 200 colors and wood decors. We have most RAL colors in stock and other shades can be produced on request," says Managing Director Jean-Pierre Konings. "The delivery time for standard profiles is between 2 and 4 weeks, but is always determined in consultation with the customer. If required, we can keep profiles in stock for customers and deliver just-in-time."
Nothing comes naturally. Continuous growth is only possible through hard work and continued investment. Resting on their laurels is not an option for manager Konings and his people. A team of some 20 enthusiastic employees works hard to meet the demands and delivery deadlines of the customers. Recently, the company has also been investing in the development of its own products such as accessories for the window sector and the colored garden screens of the Color Garden series. These screens consist of aluminum posts and plastic panels covered with foils in the color or decor of your choice.
"While in the early years we were only involved in film work for cladding plastic window frames, the demand for applications for cladding has increased dramatically in recent years. Many building owners would like wooden solutions, but are reluctant to maintain them. Aluminum profiles with a wood decor film then offer a solution. That's why we developed our Color Wall cladding," says the manager.
"This solution was well received by the market and the first projects have since been successfully realized. For example, for a housing project in the Netherlands we supplied 2,000 meters of tubular profiles with a wood grain foil, and even the wooden pillars as a facade accent at fast food chains are now giving way to more maintenance-friendly aluminum profiles with the same wood look. And those are just two reference projects."
