Suction lifter with battery pump exemplifies ease of operation

The Bohle Group is one of the world's leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of glass hardware, sliding door solutions, tools, machinery and consumables for glass processing and finishing. Among other things, the company produces suction lifters of the Veribor® brand. Comfort, ergonomics and design are at the heart of this.

At Fensterbau Frontale, the company presented an innovative plastic and aluminum pump suction lifter . "What is new is that the suction lifter no longer needs to be operated manually, but is equipped with a battery pump," said Michaela Woitynek who heads Bohle's vacuum technology division. "Like the vacuum lifter with the manual hand pump, this new type of vacuum lifter is also suitable for lifting material of up to 120 kg. At the push of a button, the battery pump builds up the vacuum. Moreover, this new suction lifter also lends itself to slightly rough surfaces; so the surface does not have to be perfectly smooth."

Optimal battery life has also been considered, Michaela continues, "When the battery is fully charged, it lasts about 600 pumping cycles. And then the battery pump is fully charged again in about three hours. And should the battery unexpectedly run out, the battery pump in the suction lifter can easily be replaced with the hand pump provided."
