Under a glass roof from Vitello System GmbH, one can enjoy cozy, sunny moments outdoors without having to reckon with the whims of nature. In contrast to slatted roofs or patio roofs with fabric, these glass roofs allow light to enter the home unimpeded. The manufacturer from Delmenhorst offers something for everyone: from the Vitello Casa® with cubic design, optionally equipped with a Vacanza-Flex sliding roof window for ventilation, to the Vitello-Flex-Plus with an electrically operated sliding roof made of glass elements.
Vitello System GmbH is the European market leader in the development and production of terrace roofs with sliding glass roofs. All systems are produced in the company's own factory in Delmenhorst, thus ensuring the highest quality at all times. No band work, because each canopy is made individually for a customer and adapted to his or her requirements.
With Vitello Casa® the manufacturer developed a cube-shaped canopy based on a sturdy aluminum frame with an elegant and sleek design and a roof, consisting of glass elements with a thickness between 8 and 16 mm.
"This modular system is suitable for areas from 3000 x 3000 mm to 7000 x 4500 mm and can be installed against the facade of a house or freestanding. Invisibly integrated gutters and downspouts ensure efficient water drainage, and LED spotlights or strips provide atmospheric lighting after dark," explains CEO Jochim Kalbfleisch.
"This canopy is available with profiles in various RAL and other colors and can be fully enclosed thanks to the sliding glass walls type GG-100 Slide. To supply fresh air and exhaust warm air, we can integrate Vacanza-Flex sliding roof windows, which can then be easily slid open and closed with a telescopic rod. The profiles of this Vitello Casa® are made of low-carbon Hydro REDUXA aluminum, by the way."
Vitello-Flex-Plus is a real showpiece and a further development of the Vitello-Flex, with which it all began. This motorized version of the successful glass roof can be easily operated with a switch or a remote control, as well as via a smartphone.
"One can open the glass roof completely or set individual glass elements in motion. A low-noise motor operates two glass sections at a time, allowing quick reaction to changing weather conditions. Thanks to optional rain sensors, this can even be done automatically, so one never has to wonder whether the glass roof was closed or not during a sudden downpour," Kalbfleisch explains. "This canopy is available in different shapes to fit perfectly with existing buildings: a pent roof, possibly with chamfered corners, circumferential with corners or shifting to follow indentations or recesses in the façade, but a saddle roof is also possible. This roof has a pitch between 3 and 7° and is available with widths up to 7000 mm and a projection between 1000 and 7000 mm. In short: with the Vitello-Flex-Plus, one gets a convertible feeling on the terrace, while the incidence of light in the house remains unchanged."
