Easy passage, minimum force

With an overall hood height of only 7 inches, the GEZE Powerturn fits perfectly into almost any door design. "An advanced smart swing technology provides the first level of accessibility," said Van Driel. "The door can be opened manually with minimal resistance, yet is safely self-closing. In doing so, the Powerturn offers an ideal solution for existing doors where there is no electronic lock, but users find the resistance of a door closer too heavy. The same operator, when combined with appropriate electronic locking and security, will also achieve the next level of accessibility and/or comfort, with doors opening and closing fully automatically." 

The Powerturn is composed in such a way that the power of the engine can be utilized at all times, he emphasizes. "This makes the Powerturn extremely strong, under all conditions. Thus, even doors with a high wind load, high under- or overpressure and/or heavy doors (up to 600 kg) can be opened and closed easily and safely." The Powerturn's operator contains a fully pre-tensioned spring. Since this spring does not constantly move through the housing, this reduces wear and tear.

Combination of manual and automatic use

A unique feature of the GEZE Powerturn is that manual operation and automatic operation can be combined, without the risk of malfunctions. This also benefits user-friendliness and safety, according to Van Driel. "In addition, maintenance costs remain to a

Importantly, the Powerturn also meets the tightened EN 16005 standards for automatic doors.
