Ready for a winter getaway to beautiful Ghent?
The number one trade fair for window, door, sun protection, facade and access technology is just around the corner. Roto therefore invites all window and door manufacturers from the entire region to take a winter trip to beautiful Ghent on January 17, 18 and 19. It is a great way to start the new year, but also an opportunity to get to know Roto's offer and the many new developments for windows, doors and sliding elements in PVC, wood and aluminium.
For some years now, Roto Patio Inowa has been synonymous with premium sliding technology for doors and windows in wood, PVC and aluminum. It is characterized by a patented all-round locking system, extremely smooth movement and exceptional weather resistance. The concealed technology enables narrow profiles in a modern design.
"Wooden window manufacturers can now buy Patio Inowa as part of a special package we have put together with two of our technology partners," says Gerry Claassens, Head of Sales for Roto Benelux. "That package includes the Roto hardware system and a complete set of custom milling tools from expert Leitz. There is also a sill that was specifically adapted for the Dutch market by sill specialist DTS and meets the latest building regulations in that sector. By the way, at our booth one can also discover how easy it is to open and lock the Inowa sash thanks to the premium ball bearing technology."
Roto is also showing off a PVC door that is secured on the closing side with the latest Roto Safe A Tandeo lock. This mechanical multi-point system locks the door automatically as soon as it is pushed shut. Locking is controlled by powerful, tested security points, which can make doors RC2 and even RC3 compliant. Roto Safe A Tandeo is suitable for doors up to 3000 mm high and radiates elegance for many years to come thanks to its scratch-resistant, corrosion-resistant coating.
"On the hinge side, we integrate Roto Solid B hinges from the latest range of roller hinges. The adjustment mechanism is completely internal, which means that these hinges can be adjusted in all directions but always remain the same in appearance. There is no height difference between the parts and they always lie in a straight, vertical line," the Head of Sales continues. "Sills from the Roto Eifel range provide the perfect finishing touch. These are designed with strong thermal performance and weather resistance in mind, and fully comply with access technology regulations."
This sill system is also shown in combination with a PVC balcony door, which is further equipped with the innovative concealed Tilt&Turn hardware type Roto NX Designo. With this unique window fitting system, a tilt function on the primary sash allows the user to ventilate the room naturally without difficulty, while both sashes can also be opened as a door.
Finally, the hardware specialist demonstrates an aluminum window with concealed hinges type AL Designo and the TiltSafe burglary prevention system. "The clampable components of the AL range allow very quick and efficient installation," Gerry Claassens concludes. "Thanks to TiltSafe, a tilt and turn window is always secure, even in the tilt position. Windows with this technology have been successfully tested and meet RC2 in tilted position. Consumers can therefore ventilate their homes with a safe feeling, at any time of the day or night."
