Burglar-proof doors class RC2 guarantee additional security

An 'invisible' solution for any application

Swing, sliding, pivot doors, standard or custom - Xinnix Door Systems has them all in its range. However, the specialist in patented systems for flush integration of interior doors continues to invest continuously in the development of new solutions to offer architects, contractors and building owners a suitable solution for each specific application. Thus they introduced acoustic -, fire -, smoke - and burglar-resistant doors class RC2, tested according to the European directives EN 1627 (2011).

Burglar-proof

For architects, contractors and building owners who demand extra security, Xinnix also offers burglar-resistant doors with resistance class RC2. "We supply systems with door leaves between 1500 and 2454 mm high and between 464 and 1069 mm wide. They are equipped with a self-locking multi-point lock - SECL2 and can optionally also be ordered with a door closer, motor lock and latch," states Chris Vermeulen, owner of Xinnix. "For burglar-proof doors with such a resistance class, it is important to have the entire element tested. We had our burglar-resistant door, consisting of the door leaf, the Xinnix frame, integrated hinges and a multi-point lock, tested in accordance with EN 1627 (2011) at an independent body. The result: a proven burglar resistance of at least 3 minutes."

Fire and smoke resistant

Xinnix meanwhile offers a full range. These include "invisible" systems for swing doors, standard or ceiling high, supplied with 3D independently adjustable hinges and a Xinnix magnetic lock. In the same style, acoustic door solutions with sound attenuation of -33 dB - and higher on request - are also available. There are also solutions for wooden and glass sliding doors as well as pivoting doors. 

In addition to these standard doors, acoustic versions and burglar-resistant solutions, Xinnix also focuses on fire safety. Indeed, the specialist developed an elegant fire door that is not a disturbing element and also provides visual tranquility due to the absence of visible frames, hinges and door pumps. "The proven concept of our systems was not touched: pre-painted aluminum frames with invisible hinges and possibly a built-in door closer. Thanks to the extensive range of locks, a customized solution can always be realized," concludes Chris Vermeulen. "The combination of our certified Xinnix frames with a fire-resistant door leaf ensures that fire and smoke do not spread. The assembly was subjected to various fire tests and also passed them with flying colors. The single doors are available in EI130 and EI260, the double doors in EI130. They also meet the SA-S200 smoke standard, which limits or completely stops the transmission of smoke or gases between rooms."
