Eight months after its introduction, some 120 Skantrae dealers have already experienced the added value of the customer portal in practice. And if Van Putten is to be believed, many more will follow. It has everything to do with the many advantages of the digital counter. "In addition to its versatility, ease of use and completeness, the portal is also accessible 24 hours a day," Van Putten said. "That means that as a dealer you have access to stock, product and other information around the clock. In addition, it is possible to view order records at any time of the day."

The basis of the dealer portal is SAP. It appears to be a conscious choice, according to Van Putten's words. "For the software setup of our customer portal, we used Magento 2.0 in combination with SAP. This has not only produced a reliable system, it is also very future-proof. And that's a nice thought, especially considering the extensions and additions we plan to make in the future. The combination of providing inspiration on the front end and sharing information with our dealers on the back end requires more than just a standard solution. We believe that we have made the best possible choice with SAP and Magento.
