PVC front doors have excellent insulating properties, making them very energy efficient. They help keep the heat in during the winter and keep the house cool in the summer. In addition, they require little maintenance, are resistant to weather and wind, and are very good value for money.

Deceuninck's Elegant doors go even one step further. They have the innovative ThermoFibra technology, in which the sash (85 mm) is not reinforced with steel, but with glass fibers. This avoids cold bridges and the doors achieve even better insulation values. The result is superior thermal and acoustic insulation. In combination with the Forthex steel wire reinforced frames - 76 mm - the Elegant ThermoFibra doors have excellent thermal performance with U_f -values as low as 0.99 W/m²K. 

Lightweight, time-saving and ergonomic 

The door profiles do not offer all the technical advantages, they also have numerous pluses in terms of ergonomics. For example, the sash consists of a single profile. The installer no longer needs to provide reinforcement, which must be additionally screwed into the sash. This means less stock and saves time. Moreover, the Forthex reinforcement 30% is lighter and easier to process, which in turn is good for the physical comfort of the window fabricator and installer. Thanks to this very stable door sash with fiberglass and inventive, internal chamber structure, after-service is also reduced to a minimum. 

Sustainable and certified  

Deceuninck is using more and more recycled material. For example, the core of a door profile - the Forthex reinforcement - consists of recycled PVC foam, the layer around it is recycled PVC. In addition to this green character, the Elegant ThermoFibra also possesses the necessary quality certificates including ATG, KIWA SSK1001 and SSK1002 making the product constructionally approved to use, produce and install.
