Innovative window, door and facade systems for the Dutch and Belgian markets

Manufacturer also produces systems from post-consumer recycled aluminum

The drive for innovation runs like a thread through Cortizo's story, also during Polyclose. On a stand of over 200 m², the Spanish specialist in window, door and façade systems will present solutions that respond to the latest trends. They combine excellent thermal and acoustic insulation values with eye-catching designs and contribute to sustainability and circularity in construction.

PVC windows

Cortizo comes with a number of new PVC window systems, including the A84 Concealed Sash, which stands out for its minimalist design and profiles with a view width of only 90 mm. The frame with a recessed depth of 84 mm combines elegant design with excellent thermal insulation Uw ≥ 0.74 W/m²K and sound attenuation Rw up to 46 dB. This system is suitable for glass thicknesses up to 46.5 mm and scores highly in terms of air tightness (class 4), water tightness (E2250) and wind resistance (class C5). 

Aluminum folding door

Furthermore, the Spanish manufacturer presents its new BiFold Plus, an aluminum folding door based on a frame with a built-in depth of 80 mm. This system can include up to 14 sashes and is ideal for large opening windows in residential and commercial spaces. BiFold Plus is suitable for glazing with a thickness of up to 48 mm and is characterized by an excellent thermal insulation Uw of only 0.8 W/m²K thanks in part to a 45 mm thermal break, an air tightness class 4, a water tightness E750 and a resistance to wind class C3.

Aluminum system with a steel-look

The Alu-Steel series is also being highlighted. It combines the performance of aluminum with a steel look. This is a window and balcony door with a view width of 72.5 mm, suitable for glass thicknesses up to 54 mm. This solution exists in two versions: 'classic' (bevelled design) and 'modern' (with straight lines). Moreover, a thermal break of 39 mm in the frame and 32 mm in the sash and the use of insulating foam result in a U-value of only 0.83 W/m²K. This Alu-Steel system is performed together with the COR 80 Industrial and the COR 80 Hidden Sash with hidden handle and water drain.

Sliding system

One of the eye-catchers will undoubtedly be the COR VISION PLUS, a sliding system with sashes of up to 4 meters and a center post of only 25 mm. This minimalist solution scores highly in thermal and acoustic terms with a Uw of 0.9 W/m²K and an Rw of up to 43 dB. To optimize the transition between inside and outside, the track can be hidden and even fully integrated into the floor. The system is shown together with COR Vision, its little brother with a 20 mm center post, into which a concealed handle can be integrated.

Post-consumer aluminum

Special attention is paid to Infinity, produced from post-consumer recycled aluminum. Less than one kilogram of CO₂ per kilogram of aluminum produced is released. This amounts to a reduction of more than 95% in carbon emissions and energy consumption compared to a production of primary materials. In a short time, this product has become an icon of green architecture, a benchmark for the new way of building with a focus on reduced environmental impact and on circularity. People are increasingly opting for materials that can be reused even after their useful life. Aluminum can be infinitely recycled as a raw material, without loss of properties.
