For aluplast, window manufacturers always come first. For over 40 years, the family-owned company from Karlsruhe has been developing and producing plastic profiles that meet the highest standards and regulations and take into account local architecture and design trends. Testament to this is the modular and versatile neo platform, which is based on a series of basic profiles that can be seamlessly combined with various compatible profiles. In addition, the profile supplier developed an aluminum system for the first time.
Window profile supplier aluplast says it was one of the first system providers to opt for the platform strategy. With the neo platform, they have undoubtedly brought to market one of the most successful developments of recent years. This innovative solution is based on a modular concept that offers a high degree of flexibility and compatibility. A series of basic profiles can be combined with different profiles, hardware, seals and surfaces to produce fully customized windows and doors with high versatility and low complexity.
"This is our concept for the future, developed in close cooperation with customers. We want to make the production of windows as easy and efficient as possible for them and meet their requirements," states Patrick Seitz, managing director and owner of aluplast GmbH.
"This system platform offers a wide range of combinations of different frames and sashes on window facades. Whether it is narrow facades, sash-covering frames, unobtrusive facades or classic window designs - all these are combined in a single platform. Regardless of the architectural style, the neo platform always offers the right window. Window manufacturers can combine all products as desired and create customized solutions to stand out from the competition and satisfy end customers. The platform's maximum compatibility allows them to organize their product range conveniently, maximize variety and reduce inventory and store efficiently."
In developing the neo platform, the profile supplier also took sustainability into account. All profiles are fully recyclable and can be processed up to seven times into new base material for window production. The reduced use of steel also minimizes CO2-footprint. "This closed material cycle is a strong selling point. We are willing to use profiles made from recycled material and therefore recently showed a prototype of the 100 % window," the managing director continued. "However, the industry does not have enough used material, although the recycling rate for dismantled old PVC windows is very high. To solve this problem, we have our own certified waste management company and are creating collection points for old windows at our customers' premises."
The name aluplast has been synonymous with high-quality plastic profiles for more than 40 years. Today, however, the profile supplier is taking it a step further and developed an aluminum system for the first time with aluplast one75. "Our motto is: one supplier, one contact person, many more possibilities. Therefore, we also anticipated our customers' demand for aluminum profiles. The circle is therefore complete for the name aluplast," concludes founder Manfred J. Seitz. "However, this new aluplast one75 not only closes the circle of names, but also that of design. Inspired by current architectural trends, we remain true to the path taken with the neo platform in that area: slim profiles, generous window sizes and a clear, cubic aesthetic. To cover a wide range of applications, standard building depths were deliberately chosen for the first products."
