Very small and elegant

German hinge manufacturer Dr. Hahn presents its new hinge series 'Klemmband AT'. This new product has been specially developed for the Benelux, where door hinges clamped in the Euro groove on aluminum profile doors are particularly commonly used. Suitable variants are available for 16 mm grooves.

Height

Depending on the application, the door manufacturer can use a two-piece or three-piece door hinge. The hinges move door leaves up to 150 kg (two-piece hinges up to 120 kg). Higher weights can be realized in consultation with Dr. Hahn. A solid stainless steel pin with a diameter of 10 mm holds the sash in position. Thanks to the profile-adapted hinge parts, the hinge is fixed nicely to the profile.

Easy to install

Several features make the clamp hinge unique: the clamp block that attaches the hinge to the profile can be placed at any point in the profile at any time. This means that the door leaf can also be installed in any position on site.

Discreet design

Due to the hinge roller with a diameter of only 18 mm, the Hahn AT hinge looks very small and elegant. The hinge therefore disappears discreetly into the background of the element and retains the door designer's design idea. The two-piece hinge version reaches a height of 132 mm and the three-piece version is one of the smallest hinges on the market at 167 mm. In addition to aesthetics, Dr. Hahn is also increasingly striving to save materials as sustainably as possible while maintaining the stability of the door hinges.

Patented adjustment

In addition to a smaller hinge roller, the door hinge features a revolutionary and patented hinge adjustment, which is fully integrated into the fastening segment between the frame and the sash. Even with extreme adjustment, no gradient of the hinge parts is visible. The beautiful shape of the hinge contour is thus maintained.

Adjustable in six directions

The Hahn clamp hinge AT can be infinitely adjusted horizontally and vertically on the assembled sash by one person without loosening the mounting screws. To adjust the tightening force, the sash is lifted and the bearing bush moved to a new position.

- Height adjustment ± 2.5 mm, with door leaf hung;

- Horizontal adjustment ± 1.5 mm, with the door leaf hung;

- Tightening pressure adjustment ± 0.3 mm by turning the bearing bush.The opening angle is 180°.

Versatile in use

The AT hinge can be used on either the left or right side and has a maintenance-free bearing. The same hinge can be used for doors that open inward and outward. You also do not need to distinguish between top and bottom hinges. 

Elegant appearance

Only high-quality materials are used for the AT clamp hinge. The hinge bodies are made of extruded aluminum. This ensures the best results in corrosion tests. Also new is the new Hahn Trinox color, which is very similar to brushed stainless steel. All RAL colors and the anodized EV 1 version are also available.

For high loads

To be used in certified applications, the Hahn AT clamp hinge will soon be tested by an independent testing institute according to EN 1935:2002. The hinge construction is designed to meet the criteria of hinge class 13. This makes the hinges suitable for doors with very high loads.
