Manufacturer of plastic profiles looks forward to Polyclose: 'Spectacular new color varieties and introduction of new profile systems'

The market share of plastic window frames in the Netherlands continues to grow. VEKA, world market leader in plastic frame profiles for windows and doors, is making an important contribution to this. Especially for the Dutch market, VEKA has a team that provides commercial and technical support for the VEKA profile systems. It consists of Technical Advisor Jeroen Holtkamp and Area Sales Manager Han Temmink. During Polyclose 2024 in Ghent, they will update you on the latest developments at VEKA.

Jeroen Holtkamp is the point of contact for all technical questions regarding the production and application of VEKA profile systems. Han Temmink is responsible for commercial support. Han: "Jeroen and I complement each other perfectly. Together we make sure that processors, architects and clients can benefit optimally from the advantages of VEKA profile systems."

VEKA Fine Structure: innovative surface with five new colors

One of the many advantages of VEKA profile systems is the great diversity of surfaces, colors and decors. Moreover, VEKA continues to surprise with distinctive surface technology and color varieties. This is proven by the introduction of VEKA Fine Structure, which is in a class of its own in the trendy matte shades. Han: "VEKA Fine-textured stands out because of its look and feel. The new fine-textured surface variants are available in five shades of gray: anthracite, quartz, basalt, umber and silver." Jeroen explains to what they owe their striking appearance. "Characteristic of VEKA Fine-textured is its grain-like structure. As a result, the surface looks and feels different. VEKA Fine Structure is also optimized for solar reflection. Frame profiles with VEKA Fine Structure therefore remain cooler and therefore have unprecedented scratch resistance."

VEKAMOVE 76: broadening the range of sliding doors

Sliding doors are becoming increasingly popular. Polyclose presents VEKA's current range for this growth market. Newcomer in this is VEKAMOVE 76. "VEKAMOVE 76 is a new sliding system that VEKA is introducing worldwide. VEKAMOVE 76 is a budget-friendly system that is particularly attractive for chalets. It can be finished in all VEKA colors," says Han. "Importantly, VEKAMOVE 76 is also very easy to produce because the frame and sash can be welded on traditional machines," adds Jeroen. "During Polyclose, the system will be demonstrated in detail."

VEKAMOTION 82: established value

For larger homes, lift-and-slide doors are the attractive, stylish alternative to traditional garden doors. VEKA has developed the VEKAMOTION 82 line for this purpose. "The demand for this is growing rapidly," says Han. "VEKAMOTION 82 is the basic system. In addition, VEKAMOTION 82 MAX is available for the Netherlands. With this fine system, the glass proportion can be maximized and you get a virtually windowless optic."

VEKAMOTION 82 is very efficient in production and easy to assemble. Processors who want to get started with this can get their light from Jeroen. "I support them in starting production of VEKA systems," he says.

Focus on environment and innovation

In 1993, VEKA established the subsidiary Umwelttechnik. VEKA's recycling division now has plants in Germany, France and Great Britain and is Europe's largest and most modern recycler of old plastic window frames and production waste. Every year, VEKA Umwelttechnik sustainably recycles more than 100,000 tons of old windows, doors, shutters and profiles made of plastic. When it comes to the environment and innovation, VEKA continues to be a pioneer, says Han. "VEKA's goal is to work completely climate-neutral in 2045, throughout the supply chain. VEKA is going to include all parties involved in this. For the Netherlands, this means that in 2024 we will further increase our efforts in this area. Among other things, we will ensure that our environmental efforts are visible in the environmental database." Would you like to know more about this? Then visit VEKA during Polyclose.
